3. Dungeon Masters (DM) can be identified by glowing red arm bands. If you have any questions or concerns please refer to them. They have final word on what is, and is not, allowed on the Dungeon.
4. House safewords are RED for stop, YELLOW for caution. The DM will intervene if the involved persons do not respond appropriately. SAFEWORD will be considered a call for outside assistance.

Safety starts with a dedicated and educated team that focused on at-event safety. Ambassadors and Dungeon Masters represent our dance floor and Dungeon monitors respectfully. They are here to help answer any questions or concerns from our guests, as well as to report or engage in any situations where individual(s) are breaking any of the Impulse Event or Dungeon rules.
Suspensions
If an individual(s) has violated our event rules or has been brought to our attention as an individual who has caused harm they may be served a suspension to Impulse Events.
Event Suspensions process
In response to specific actions taken by an individual(s) at one of our events, or reported to us.
Suspensions shall be specific in their length of time or number of events.
Suspensions shall end once the length of time or number of events have passed, and the individual(s) have had a discussion with the Producers on the context and outcome of the suspension.
Individual(s) may be permitted back to Impulse under the guidelines of the Impulse Buddy System
If an individual is suspended twice, they may be subject to a suspension without a specific length of time or number of events. Also if an individual has been previously suspended you can reach out to Impulse Producers to discuss the terms of closure and the Impulse Buddy System.
IMPULSE Buddy System
Suspensions are an important tool for event producers, but have limitations when it comes to individual(s) who completed a suspension and are seeking reintegration, or for situations that do not result in a suspension.
For the cases noted above, Impulse will be utilizing the Impulse Buddy System for as long as the Producers find appropriate.
Impulse Buddy System
You are required to have an individual you know and trust to be your Buddy for the event. This Buddy is required to be aware of the context of the Buddy system and its rules.
You and your selected Buddy have to reach out to us 1 week before an event in an email stating attendance, understanding of the Impulse Buddy System, and each person’s respective roles in it.
You and your Buddy have to arrive and leave with each other. If either leaves the event at any time, the other has to leave as well.
You will be required to check in with your Buddy at the Dungeon to sign in and let us know you have arrived at the event.
You or your buddy will not be permitted to use the Dungeon or to go onto the Stage.
If you or your buddy break any of the Impulse Event rules, you will both be held responsible and be asked to leave the event.
